Description

If you’ve ever ordered a part for a Manitou telehandler and ended up with the wrong bracket because the aftermarket catalog had a misprint, you know the frustration. I do too. That’s why I tell my guys to start with the Manitou 80 VJR, 105 VJR 2, 110 VJR 2 2005 Parts Catalog. This is the factory-issued reference from Manitou’s own printing. 62 pages of exploded views with genuine part numbers — not a third-party guess.

What This 62-Page Parts Catalog Covers

This catalog covers three models: the 80 VJR, the 105 VJR 2, and the 110 VJR 2. All are from the 2005 publication year, but note that the 110 VJR 2 was added in a later revision (see page 3 of the manual – the update history shows IC 396 added that platform in 11/2003). So if you need parts for a 110 VJR 2 built after that date, this catalog includes them. Each section breaks down the machine by major assemblies: engine, hydraulics, chassis, electrical, and more. The exploded diagrams are clear enough that even a home garage guy can find the exact seal or bearing without calling the dealer.

Why Factory OEM Documentation Matters

I cannot count how many times an aftermarket parts catalog gave me a wrong number. The digit transposition is real. This catalog came straight from Manitou’s BP 249 Z.I. address in Ancenis, France. The part numbers here are the same ones the factory uses. When you order from your Manitou dealer using these numbers, the part shows up correct. No returns. No wasted time. That’s the difference between a factory catalog and a scanned photocopy of a photocopy.

Factory data. No substitutes.

How to Order Parts the Right Way

Flip to page 4. The manual spells out exactly what you need to state: A) the catalog reference (547356 C), B) the figure number, C) the item number and quantity, D) the machine type and its series number. For example, if you need a wheel for a 105 VJR 2 with series number 500700, you’d give the figure number (like 3 AA 138) and the item number from the diagram. They show an example with “3 AA 138” and “Quantity 1.” If you skip any of these, the dealer has to guess. And guessing gets you the wrong part. I’ve seen guys order a hydraulic hose by length alone and get one with the wrong fitting angle. This catalog kills that.

3 Models: 80 VJR, 105 VJR 2, 110 VJR 2

Each of these machines has its own subset of pages. The 80 VJR is the smaller platform. The 105 VJR 2 and 110 VJR 2 share many components but have different booms and hydraulic layouts. The catalog separates them by figure numbers. Always check the figure number matches your model before ordering. The machine type field in the example (105 VJR 2) makes this clear.

Hydraulic and Engine Component Sections

Not every parts catalog includes the full hydraulic breakout. This one does. You get the pump, motor, valves, cylinders, and all the seals. Engine section covers the diesel powerplant – see this Wikipedia article on diesel engines for basics on the system type. For deeper repair steps, pair this catalog with the MANITOU 80 VJR 105 VJR2 2004 Repair Manual to get torque specs and assembly procedures.

Can I use this catalog for 2004 models?
This catalog is for 2005 models only.
What information do I need to provide when ordering parts?
From page 4 of the catalog, you must provide the catalog reference (547356 C), the figure number (e.g., 3 AA 138), the item number from the diagram, the quantity, the machine type (80 VJR, 105 VJR 2, or 110 VJR 2), and the machine’s series number. Without the series number, the dealer cannot guarantee the correct revision. For instance, a 110 VJR 2 built before the 2003 update might have different hydraulics. Always verify the machine’s serial number plate. This level of detail is why factory catalogs work — you get the right part the first time.
