Xtreme XR620, XR621 2010 Parts Catalog – What You Get from the Factory

2010 Xtreme XR620 XR621 factory OEM Parts Catalog cover

I’ve been turning wrenches for 28 years, and nothing burns my time faster than chasing down a wrong part number from a third-party list. When you’re under a forklift that’s down, you need the exact OEM number – not a guess, not a “cross-reference” from some website. The Xtreme XR620, XR621 2010 Parts Catalog is the same 306-page binder that Xtreme Manufacturing handed their dealers. It’s the only source I trust for part numbers, assembly breakdowns, and design change records.

Engine Section: Part Numbers and Assembly Layout

Section 4 of this catalog covers the Engine – and it’s broken into four sub-sections (pages 4-1 through 4-14). You get separate sheets for the engine assembly (Sheet 1 on page 4-2, Sheet 2 on page 4-3) plus a general engine parts page. If you need a head gasket, an oil pan, or a fuel injection component, you’ll find the factory number right next to the exploded view. No flipping between aftermarket tables. The part numbers match the OEM stampings.

Does This Catalog Cover the Boom Assemblies?

Section 9 runs 22 pages and covers the boom from every angle – XR620 boom assembly (pages 9-2 and 9-3), XR621 boom assembly (pages 9-6 and 9-7), outer boom for each model, and inner boom assembly. Each sheet includes a detailed illustration with callouts. That’s how you confirm you’re ordering the correct weldment, pin, or wear pad instead of playing “looks close enough.” For the XR620 outer boom, see page 9-10. For the XR621, page 9-13. The part number is right there in the drawing.

3 Key Sections for Common Repairs

Three sections that’ll save you a phone call to the dealer: Section 5 (Transmission, Axles, Driveshafts), Section 6 (Steering, Brakes, Wheels, Tires), and Section 7 (Hydraulic System). Hydraulics alone takes up 42 pages (7-1 through 7-42). You’ll find every seal, O-ring, fitting, and pump component. Section 7 includes the entire hydraulic system breakdown – cylinders, valve banks, hoses. If you’ve got a leak, you can pinpoint the exact part number without pulling the whole assembly apart first.

This catalog also includes a Service Bulletin section (page A3) and Design Change Notices (page A4). That means you see exactly which updates were applied to the machine at the factory. Aftermarket catalogs never show you that.

Get the Right Parts for Transmission and Axles

Section 5 lists every gear, bearing, seal, and yoke for the drivetrain. Whether you’re rebuilding an axle or swapping a driveshaft, the OEM number is there. Don’t rely on a generic parts database – the Xtreme XR620 and XR621 share some components but not all. This catalog keeps them straight. The alphabetical-numerical index in the back (77 pages) lets you search by part number if you have an old broken piece with a legible stamp.

Boom Attachments: What’s Listed on Page 11-4

Section 11 covers boom attachments, including the fork positioning carriage on page 11-4. If you need a new fork, a carriage side-shift cylinder, or a quick-attach plate, the part number and illustration are there. You won’t find that level of detail in any aftermarket guide I’ve seen.

Audience Fit – Who Should Buy This

If you own an Xtreme XR620 or XR621 forklift – or you work on them in a shop – this catalog belongs on your bench. Internal Combustion Engine parts are one thing, but this covers the whole machine: chassis, labels, electrical system (Section 8 with 20 pages), cab and consoles (Section 10, 18 pages), and the boom. Beginners will appreciate the clear exploded views and part number callouts. Pros will appreciate that the part numbers are factory-verified, not transcribed from a blurry photo.

Source Validity – OEM vs. Aftermarket

This is a scan of the factory-issued Illustrated Parts Breakdown Manual, copyrighted 2010 by Xtreme Manufacturing. Every page includes the “Preliminary Manual” date and a list of effective pages (page A from the PDF). Aftermarket parts catalogs often skip pages, compress drawings, or swap part numbers. This one doesn’t. The Automotive Industry Overview standard is that OEM documentation is the gold standard – and this is it. I’ve seen too many techs order the wrong bearing because a third-party list had a typo. Don’t be that guy.

If you’re stocking your shop or building a reference library, also check out related manuals: Xtreme XR2450 2011 Parts Catalog, Xtreme XR842 2006 Parts Catalog, and Xtreme XR945 2006 Illustrated Parts Breakdown Manual. They follow the same format.

Is this just a list of parts, or does it include exploded diagrams?
It includes exploded diagrams for every major assembly – engine, transmission, boom, hydraulics, electrical, cab. Each diagram has numbered callouts that reference the part numbers in the adjacent list. No separate text descriptions, just the visuals and numbers you need to order the correct piece.
Does the catalog cover both the XR620 and XR621, or do I need separate books?
It covers both models in one book. The boom sections are model-specific: XR620 boom assembly on pages 9-2 through 9-3, XR621 on pages 9-6 through 9-7. Outer boom and inner boom assemblies are also separated. All other sections (chassis, engine, transmission, hydraulics) cover both machines unless a note calls out a difference. One catalog does the job.

Stop wasting time on aftermarket guesswork. Access the Factory Manual – your workstation will thank you.
