Palfinger PK11000 1995 Parts Catalog – Factory Spec, No Guesswork

Palfinger PK11000 1995 Parts Catalog cover showing crane diagram

If you’re tearing into a Palfinger PK11000 crane and you don’t have the factory parts list from 1995, you’re working blind. I’ve seen guys order a seal kit for the wrong revision of a slew ring and lose a full day. This catalog is what the parts counter uses – straight from the Palfinger factory. 164 pages of exploded views, part numbers, and ordering codes. No aftermarket interpretation. No “close enough” dimensions.

This thing covers the entire crane structure: the base, the slewing system, the control valves, the overload protection, the crane column, and every hydraulic line. Every section is broken down by assembly number – like pk11000-010.0100 for the base, pk11000-030.0100 for overload protection. You get the German, English, and French names side by side. That matters when you’re cross-referencing a part on a European-built machine. If you’ve ever been handed a generic hydraulic seal and told “it’ll work,” you know why the OEM spec matters.

Base and Slewing System (Section 010)

The first 15 pages cover the crane base, covers, slewing system, pipes, extension box, extension cylinder, stabilizer rams, and the oil tank. Each sub-section has its own exploded diagram with callouts. Need the stabilizer ram seal kit? Look up pk11000-010.1300. The part number is right there, not hidden in some appendix. The slewing system page (pk11000-010.0300) shows the rotation gear and bearing assembly – every bolt and shim listed. If you’re replacing the slew ring, you need this to know which shim thickness to order.

Control Valve Assembly (Section 020)

Eight sub-sections for the directional control valves. pk11000-020.0100 through 020.0800 cover different valve configurations and control levers. The manual shows the internal spool, springs, and port plates. You can identify which valve variant you have by the diagram. No more disassembling the whole bank to find a worn spool – the part number for the spool kit is on the page. Control section (020.0700) includes the remote control interface parts. If you’re troubleshooting a dead joystick, start here.

Overload Protection Systems (Section 030)

The PK11000 has multiple overload protection variations – OSK(M)-F, OSK(M)-H, and standard. Each gets its own exploded view. pk11000-030.0400 covers the OSK(M)-F version, 030.0500 and 030.0600 cover the -H version. The difference is in the pressure relief cartridge and the electrical switch assembly. If you’re retrofitting an older crane with a newer safety valve, you need the exact cartridge part number from this catalog. Also includes the rotation limiter (030.1000).

Crane Column and Hydraulics (Section 040)

Four sub-sections: crane column, inner boom ram, and pipes. The boom ram (040.0200) shows the rod seal kit and piston seal. The pipe routing diagrams (040.0300) list every hose and fitting with length and thread type. If you’re replacing a leaking hose, you can order the pre-made assembly by part number instead of building custom lines. That’s a half-hour job versus a full day.

O-Ring Table and Ordering Info

At the back of the catalog there’s an O-ring table – cross-sections and inner diameters. That’s the kind of detail that saves you from buying a $200 seal kit when you need one $2 o-ring. The preface (vorwort) and abbreviations section explain the part numbering system and the ordering process. The catalog is organized the way Palfinger built the crane – by assembly, not by random categories. That means less flipping back and forth.

This is the same document a dealer uses to quote parts. It’s scanned from the original 1995 release, so the illustrations are crisp and the part numbers legible. If you’re maintaining a fleet of these cranes or just own one and want to stop paying dealer markup on parts, this is your tool. Palfinger PK 7501 PK 8501 Spare Parts Catalog 2005 covers the smaller sibling. PALFINGER PK 19000 Parts Book 1996/09 if you’ve got the big boy. And PALFINGER PK 18002 EH Spare Parts Catalogue for the EH model.

Need background on crane safety regulations? Automotive Industry Overview gives context on lifting equipment standards. Automotive Industry Overview also covers related standards. But for the PK11000, the only source you need is the factory catalog.

Who Needs This Catalog?

If you’re a mobile crane repair shop, a fleet mechanic, or an owner-operator doing your own maintenance on a Palfinger PK11000 built in the mid‑90s, this is your parts bible. Not a generic hydraulic parts book. Not a cross-reference. The actual factory drawing. When a customer brings in a crane with a broken stabilizer foot, you look up pk11000-010.1100, find the foot assembly, and order the right part. No guesswork. No returns.

Is this a service manual or a parts catalog?
Parts catalog. It lists every component with part numbers, exploded diagrams, and ordering codes. Not repair procedures.
Are torque specs included?
It doesn’t have torque values. Use the separate service manual for assembly specs.
Does the catalog cover all PK11000 variants?
Yes – base model, OSK(M) overload protection versions, and different control valve configurations. The section numbering matches the specific assembly shown.
Can I order parts directly from this catalog?
Yes. The part numbers are the same ones Palfinger dealers use. Give the part number from the diagram to any Palfinger distributor. That’s why we sell it – so you can order without markup.

I’ve been an ASE Master Tech for 28 years. I’ve seen aftermarket parts books where the thread pitch is wrong and the bore diameter is off by 0.5 mm. This catalog comes from the original 1995 release – 164 pages, no reprints, no interpretation. Access the Factory Manual and keep it on your tablet or print it out. You’ll pull it out every time a PK11000 comes into the bay.
