Two Numerical Indexes: MF and Perkins Numbers

Does this catalog include torque specifications for bolts?

No. This is a parts catalog, not a service manual. It lists part numbers and quantities, not torque values. For assembly specs, get the service manual.

How do I find the correct part if the illustration shows two different numbers for the same location?

Check the serial number break in the table. The parts book at page 3 tells you that unless stated otherwise, the quantity column is the total. If you see two part numbers for one location, there’s usually a serial number split. Look at the “from serial” column. If your machine’s serial number is above the break, use the later number. If it’s below, use the earlier. If you’re unsure, call Massey-ferguson with your serial. I’ve had to do that once on a 450 S final drive. The phone call saved me ordering the wrong bearing.
