Mahindra 7060 2008 Parts Catalog

Mahindra 7060 2008 Parts Catalog cover showing tractor and factory OEM manual layout

If you are ordering parts for a 7060, you need the factory parts catalog. Period. Aftermarket catalogs miss supersession numbers, skip revision dates, and guess on exploded views. This is the 2008 Mahindra 7060 2008 Parts Catalog – the same 111-page PDF the dealer counter guys pull up when you read them a serial number. No reprints.

Every part in this tractor – from the Engine crankcase to the Valve train – is laid out in OEM exploded diagrams with callouts tied directly to Mahindra part numbers. I have seen too many guys order a piston ring set off a third-party site and end up with the wrong package gasket. That does not happen with this book. The document lists the Package Gasket, O-Rings, Sleeve & Piston Rings, Valves spread across pages 40-43. Get the assembly right the first order.

Engine Section: Major Crankcase Assembly and Valve Housing Cover

The ENGINE section runs from page 2 through 47. It covers the complete major crankcase assembly, valve housing cover (pages 4-5), exhaust system, air intake system, EGR system, cylinder head assembly, valve train, crankcase front cover, crankcase with oil pan, piston/liner/connecting rod/crankshaft, lubrication oil pump, cooler and piping, cooling system, radiator and intercooler, flywheel and rear oil seal, FIP nozzle and pipings, and the hand/foot accelerator. That is the entire rotating and reciprocating group. Need to identify the oil pump drive gear? Page 26-27 breaks it down with a separate callout for the Lub. Oil Pump.

Steering & Linkages: Wheel and Column and Power Steering Piping (DANA)

Steering systems on a 60-series Mahindra use DANA components. The STERING & LINKAGES section (pages 72-79) gives you the wheel and column assembly plus the power steering piping sub-assembly. If you have a leak at the steering column, you do not guess which O-ring – the exploded view shows the exact seals and pipe routing. This is the difference between a one-hour fix and a three-hour chase.

Clutch and Front Axle: Housing, Assembly, and DANA Drive Components

The CLUTCH section (pages 82-89) details clutch housing, clutch assembly, inner controls and shafts, and pedal linkages. The FRONT AXLE & WEIGHTS section (pages 50-69) covers the DANA front axle support and drive, central housing, differential, hub reduction, steering knuckles, trunnion, and the jerricane weights (optional fitment). If you are pulling the front diff, the Hub Reduction pages 60-63 show the exact gear stack and carrier bearings. Do not mix up the left and right hub parts – the diagram labels them.

Transmission, Final Drive, and Brakes: Speed Housing, Rear Axle, and Brake Assembly

TRANSMISSION section (pages 92-101) breaks down the speed housing, speed top shaft, countershaft, and the shifting system. FINAL DRIVE & BRAKES (pages 138-145) includes rear axle and mounting, brake pedal and linkages, and brake assembly and mounting. The brake assembly on these tractors uses a multi-disc wet brake pack – the exploded diagram on page 144-145 shows every friction disc and steel separator. Get the stack order wrong and you lose braking. This catalog keeps you straight.

Factory OEM vs Aftermarket Parts Catalogs

I have tested aftermarket parts manuals on Mahindra equipment. They copy the old PDF, lose resolution on the diagrams, and omit the revision date. Mahindra revised parts through 2008 – this catalog captures those changes. The original file name is Mahindra_7060_2008_Parts_Catalog_en-47314012583.pdf. That is the file the factory sent out. Compare that to a generic scan that calls a seal a “gasket” and you see why 111 pages of OEM line art matter. The Mahindra 7060 4WD 60 Series Tractor Operator Manual pairs well with this catalog because the operator manual gives you adjustment specs while the catalog gives you part numbers. For smaller Mahindra models, check the Mahindra MAX 28 HST, MAX 28 SHUTTLE Parts Catalog – 276 Pages or the Mahindra MAX 25 HST Parts Catalog – Factory Specs for Ordering Parts – same OEM structure.

This catalog is used across dealerships and independent shops that service agricultural equipment. A good understanding of how OEM parts documentation works is important – you can read more about the Automotive Industry Overview on Wikipedia. The same principles of traceability and revision control apply. Always use the Automotive Industry Overview when evaluating any technical publication – if the source is not the manufacturer, proceed with caution.

FAQ – Common Questions About the 7060 Parts Catalog

Does this catalog include torque specs?
No. This is a parts catalog, not a service manual. It contains part numbers and exploded views only.
How do I find the correct part number for the injection pump?
Look in the FIP. Nozzle & Pipings section on pages 36-39. The exploded diagram labels the injection pump assembly with a reference number. Cross that number to the parts list table right below the diagram. That table gives the Mahindra part number, quantity, and a short description. If you need to order the delivery valve holder, the diagram shows it next to the nozzle holder.
Will this catalog fit a 2007 Mahindra 7060?
Yes. The 2008 edition supersedes the 2007 version but the major assemblies (engine, transmission, axle) carry forward the same part numbers unless a revision was published. The index lists all pages; check your machine’s serial number against the revision block on page 1 to be certain.
Can I use this to order gaskets for the valve housing cover?
Page 4-5 shows the valve housing cover with the gasket callout. The parts list gives the gasket part number. Order that – not a universal cork sheet. The EGR system section also has specific gaskets on pages 12-15.

You do not have time to chase wrong part numbers. Access the Factory Manual – the Mahindra 7060 Parts Catalog – and keep it on your phone or tablet in the shop. Every diagram, every callout, every part number is factory-verified. Stop guessing. Get the OEM document.
