These are in Nm, but you’re working in ft-lbs? Fine. 100 Nm is about 74 ft-lbs. The manual gives the raw numbers – you convert with a chart on the wall. How Are Fitting Tolerances Documented?

Page 44 starts the section titled FITTING TOLERANCES -DATA. This is where you find the bore limits for the cylinder block, piston-to-wall clearance, ring end gap, and main bearing journal wear. For the 7675115 model, the cylinder bore standard is given in metric, but you’ll measure in inches. The manual gives the limits – you compare your micrometer readings. If the taper exceeds 0.002″, it’s time to sleeve. The sleeving and honing procedure on page 25 walks you through the exact boring bar setup. Aftermarket manuals skip this because it’s engine-specific. This one doesn’t.

First, the injector section starting on page 67. It shows how to test opening pressure and spray pattern. It’s a simple list of symptoms (hard start, low power, smoke) and the corresponding checks. No flowery language. Just ‘Check fuel filter restriction’ then ‘Check injector timing’. The fuel injection pump has a mechanical governor – the manual explains shim selection for the delivery valve. The last section covers reassembly of the genset: mating the electric machine to the engine, alignment of the coupling, and bolt torques for the housing.
