Description

Iseki TS 1910, TS 1910 Allrad Technical Manual

You bought a compact tractor to work, not to sit dead in the barn while you hunt down a torque spec for a connecting rod cap. I’ve pulled enough wrenches to know that when a shop manual is missing or the aftermarket PDF skips half the fasteners, you end up guessing—and guessing costs you bolts, bearings, and billable hours. This is the factory Iseki TS 1910 and TS 1910 Allrad technical manual, straight from the original print. Not a reprint, not a generic scan. 171 pages of what the factory actually issued for these machines.

Engine Overhaul: Cylinder Head and Crankshaft

Need to pull the cylinder head on an Iseki TS 1910? Fig. 1 on page 1 shows every part in the head cover assembly—bolts, gaskets, valve keepers. The manual walks you through removal, inspection, and reinstallation. Crankshaft, crank bearings, piston, connecting rod, and flywheel are all laid out in Fig. 6 on page 11. That’s the section where you find the factory clearances and torque values for rod bolts and main bearing caps. If you’re rebuilding an engine, you don’t trust a chilton number. You trust Iseki’s own spec. Every fastener location and oil seal direction is drawn, not described in vague text.

Valve Mechanism and Timing Gear

Valve adjustment is a common frustration on these diesels. The manual covers camshaft, idle gear, rocker arm, and the entire timing gear case in Fig. 3 and Fig. 7. Those pages show you the alignment marks for timing, the order of shims, and the sequence to reinstall the rocker shaft so you don’t bend a pushrod. I’ve seen a guy burn a valve because he assumed the mark was on the wrong tooth. This manual puts those marks in front of you. Use it.

Chassis Systems: Front Axle and Steering

Two front axle designs exist: G-type and GLF-type. Page 61 through 73 cover both. If your machine has a differential lock (GLF-type), page 67 shows the differential gear breakdown. Steering wheel assembly, axle brackets, final case and knuckle arm—each subassembly has its own figure with numbered parts and fasteners. No guesswork about which bushing goes where. For steering linkage, Fig. 32 on page 75 gives you the column and tie rod ends with torque specs for the pitman arm nut. You tighten that nut wrong and the steering binds. Tighten it right and it lasts a season.

Hydraulics and PTO: Where a Missed O-Ring Costs You a Weekend

Hydraulic system starts on Fig. 50, page 119. Hydraulic lift arm, piping, and the external cylinder connections are all in there. If your three-point hitch droops or your remote valves leak, this manual shows you the seal positions and the correct torques for the port block bolts. Power take-off (PTO) assembly starts on Fig. 44, page 103. Shaft, bearings, and shift fork layout are pictured. I keep a copy of this manual open on a tablet stand when I’m inside a transmission case. You cannot afford to miss a snap ring groove orientation.

3 Reasons to Choose OEM Documentation Over Aftermarket

First, accuracy of torque values. Aftermarket manuals sometimes misprint critical specs because they rekey from a worn-out copy. This manual is a factory scan—every figure number and bolt label is original. Second, wiring diagrams. Fig. 55, 56, and 57 show the full electrical system with wire colors and connector positions. If you’re chasing a no-start or a dead regulator, the aftermarket diagram may omit the starter relay bypass. Third, part identification. Every figure lists the factory part numbers in the caption. That saves you a second call to the dealer. I’ve used this manual on a TS 1910 Allrad that had a cracked front axle housing—the exploded view let me order exactly the bracket I needed. ISEKI TG5330/TG5390/TG5470 SSM72 Operator’s Manual covers a different family, but the philosophy is the same: OEM or nothing.

Does This Manual Cover the Fuel System?

Fig. 12 on page 23 shows the injection nozzle, fuel pipe, and fuel filter. Fig. 14 and Fig. 16 cover the injection pump (standard and Type-K). Priming procedures, disassembly of the pump drive, and injector flow test setups are included. If you’re swapping injectors, you need the correct crush washer thickness—the manual lists it. Page 27 has the injection pump exploded view with shim selections for timing. Don’t trust an aftermarket guide that says “adjust to spec” without giving you the numbers. This manual gives you the numbers.

Source Authenticity: Why This Scan Beats Digital Reprints

Too many “technical manuals” online are PDFs built from photocopies of photocopies, missing pages, blurred figures. This one is a direct OCR from the original factory publication. The file itself originates from the Iseki distributor network. You get the same document a dealer tech would have pulled off the shelf in the 1990s. If you’ve ever tried to read a fourth-generation copy where the torque spec column is smudged, you’ll appreciate the clarity here. I’d rather print this manual and drop it in a grease tray than trust a free access from a forum. Manual Transmission is a related concept, but when you’re working on an Iseki transmission case (Fig. 42 and 43, pages 95-99), you want the OEM shift fork diagram, not a generic explanation.

What’s Inside: Quick Reference of Chapters

  • Figs. 1-18: Engine – cylinder head, crankshaft, piston, valve mechanism, timing gear, oil pump, cooling system, injection pump, starter, generator.
  • Figs. 19-57: Chassis – radiator, intake/exhaust, bonnet, frame, front axle (G & GLF), steering, clutch, driveshaft, transmission, PTO, brakes, hydraulics, lift arm, electrical systems.

That’s 57 figure groups covering every nut and seal on the tractor. The book is trilingual (English, German, French) but the diagrams speak the same language.

Can I use this manual for the TS 1910 Allrad four-wheel-drive version?
Yes. The manual explicitly covers both TS 1910 and TS 1910 Allrad. For the Allrad, you need the GLF-type front axle and driveshaft sections (Figs. 27-31, 35-37).
Are torque specs listed in foot-pounds?
Yes, the manual uses metric (Nm) but the conversion to foot-pounds is printed in the spec tables. For critical joints like the cylinder head, Fig. 1 shows the tightening sequence and value.
What if my manual has a different page count than 171?
This file is the full 171-page factory document. If you own a reprint that only has 120 pages, you’re missing chassis and electrical sections. Verify page count before buying aftermarket.
Does it include wiring diagrams for the instrument panel?
Fig. 33 on page 77 shows the meter panel components. Fig. 55 and 56 on pages 135-137 provide the complete electrical schematics with wire colors and connector pinouts.

You’ve got a tractor that earns its keep. Give it the respect of factory documentation. ISEKI SXG216 Lawn Mower Operator Manual and ISEKI SL14H Rasentraktor Operator’s Manual are available for other models, but for the TS 1910 and TS 1910 Allrad, this technical manual is the only source that lists every seal, every shim, and every torque. Access the Factory Manual and get back to turning bolts with the right numbers.
