Why are there multiple steering hitch part numbers in the catalog?

Because Dynapac changed the steering hitch design at serial number break 0A014837. Machines built before and including 0A014837 (and certain excluded serials) use the 4700358975 hitch. From 0A014838 onward (excluding ranges 0A014840-0A014888) they use the 4812120871 hitch. The bolt pattern, bearing size, and steering cylinder mount differ. If you order the wrong one, the cylinder pin won’t align, and you’ll be fabricating brackets. Check your machine’s serial plate and reference the correct break.
