You are working on a Toyota Supra Service Manual job and the aftermarket manual you bought online says the head bolt torque is 65 ft-lbs. Then the head gasket leaks on the test drive and you are pulling the head again. I have seen that happen. Section BR has the brake pad thickness spec, rotor runout limit, and the ABS actuator test procedure. The master cylinder pushrod clearance is spec’d in inches. The parking brake cable adjustment is step-by-step – you turn the adjuster at the equalizer, not the handle. The SRS Airbag section (AB) is critical – the manual has a warning page about disconnecting the battery and waiting before working near the airbag module. Follow that page. The SRS Airbag precautions are in the Introduction section (pages IN-7 to IN-9). Read those before you touch the steering wheel. I will say that again: read those warnings.
