TCM FG30C6 Parts Catalog – 224-Page OEM Factory Manual

TCM FG30C6 Parts Catalog 224 pages OEM factory manual open to hydraulic section

I’ve been torquing head bolts since before some of you were born. When you’re rebuilding a TCM FG30C6 forklift and the part number on the aftermarket book doesn’t match what came out of the machine, you waste half a day and a customer. This is the factory Parts Catalog, straight from TCM – 224 pages of exploded diagrams, official part numbers, and cross-references. No guessing. No generic drawings. Every FIG. number corresponds to the actual assembly from the factory line. If you need the service procedures, check the TCM FG30C6 Service Repair Manual.

What This Parts Catalog Actually Covers

This manual covers four models: FG30C6, FG30T6, FD30C6, FD30T6. The table of contents lists sections for every major system – Engine Mount (Fig.1), Air Cleaner (Fig.2-3 for G and D type), Air Duct, Cooling Unit (Fig.6-7), Fuel System (Fig.8-9), Exhaust System (Fig.10-11), Combination Meter (Fig.12), Steering Shaft Cover (Fig.13), Electric Parts (Fig.14-15), Light Unit (Fig.16), Back Buzzer (Fig.17), Drive Unit Mount (Fig.18 for C-type, Fig.22 for T-type), Clutch (Fig.19), Mission Case (Fig.20,25), Mission Gear (Fig.21), Torque Converter Case (Fig.23), Charging Pump (Fig.24), Clutch Pack (Fig.26). Each system has its own FIG. number with a multi-column table indicating applicability to each model. This is not a generic parts list – it’s the exact factory catalog used by TCM dealers to order parts.

How to Use the Parts Manual: FIG. Numbers and Machine Numbers

A detailed “How to Use” section is included. If you know the part name, you go to the Contents and find the FIG. number for that assembly. Then you go to that FIG. page, confirm the part number on the illustration, and check the machine number (serial number) from the name plate. The manual states: “When ordering, be sure to specify the model name, specification and serial number (machine number) of your machine, as well as the part number and desired quantity for each part.” If you know the assembly location but not the part name, you still start with the Contents and find the FIG. number for that location. The procedure is straightforward but requires accuracy. One wrong digit on the part number and you’ll get the wrong seal or bracket.

Section A: Engine Mounts, Cooling, Fuel Systems for FG30C6

Section A in the Contents groups the chassis components. For the FG30C6, you’ll find the engine mount (Fig.1), air cleaner G-type (Fig.2), air duct G-type (Fig.4), cooling unit G-type (Fig.6), fuel system G-type (Fig.8), exhaust system G-type (Fig.10), and so on. The G-type denotes gasoline engine; D-type is diesel. The manual clearly marks which FIG. applies to which engine variant. This is critical because part numbers for the same component often differ between gasoline and diesel. For more on internal combustion engine fundamentals, see Internal Combustion Engine on Wikipedia.

Use Only OEM Genuine Parts – Why the Manual Says It

On page 1 of the manual, in both Japanese and English, they state: “Always use TCM’s Genuine Parts. We cannot guarantee any loss or trouble attributable to other parts than ours.” That is not a suggestion – it’s a liability statement. Aftermarket parts may have different materials or tolerances, leading to premature failure or safety hazards. The parts catalog only lists OEM part numbers. If you use a non-OEM part, the machine may not operate as designed, and you won’t have the factory support. This is especially important for forklifts that lift heavy loads. Don’t risk it.

Cross-Referencing Between FG30C6 and Other Models

Each FIG. page has a table with columns for FG30C6, FG30T6, FD30C6, FD30T6. A circle (O) indicates the FIG. applies to that model. This allows you to cross-reference parts across the TCM 30-series. For example, the Combination Meter (Fig.12) is used in all four models. The Steering Shaft Cover (Fig.13) also fits all. But the Drive Unit Mount (Fig.18) only applies to C-type (clutch) models, while Fig.22 is for T-type (torque converter). Understanding these cross-references saves you from ordering wrong parts when working on different variants. For related manuals, see TCM FD60Z8 FD70Z8 FD80Z8 FD100Z8 Parts Catalog – 650 Pages and TCM Isuzu-4218A-E Parts Catalog – 478 Pages OEM Factory Manual. Also check TCM 125B Parts Catalog – 244-Page OEM Factory Manual for smaller lift trucks.

This 224-page catalog is the foundation for any FG30C6 owner or technician. The automotive industry relies on OEM documentation; see Automotive Industry Overview for context. Don’t trust aftermarket reprints that may have blurred illustrations or mismatched part numbers. Get the real thing.

Does this catalog include torque specifications?
No, this is a parts catalog, not a service manual – it lists part numbers only.
How do I find the correct part number for my forklift?
Start with the machine name plate to get the serial number. Then use the Table of Contents to locate the assembly section (e.g., Cooling Unit). Each section has a FIG. number. Open that FIG. to see the exploded diagram and corresponding part list. Match the item number to the part number column. Always verify the model and specification – the manual has columns for FG30C6, FG30T6, FD30C6, FD30T6. If you don’t see your model, the part may still be shared – check the index. For ordering, you must supply the part number, quantity, and your machine’s serial number. The manual warns that using non-genuine parts voids warranty.

Blindly using aftermarket catalogs is a fast way to get a dead forklift and an angry boss. The factory Parts Catalog from TCM eliminates that risk. Access the Factory Manual.
