Description
Solar 470Lc-V Parts Catalog – OEM Factory Specs for Your Excavator

I’ve been turning wrenches for 28 years. When a customer brings in a Solar 470Lc-V that’s throwing codes or leaking hydraulics, I don’t reach for a third-party manual. I pull up the Solar 470Lc-V Parts Catalog – the 684-page OEM book that Daewoo (now Doosan) put together. If you’re trying to rebuild an undercarriage, replace a seal kit, or even order a fan belt, you need the factory part numbers. Aftermarket cross-references are a gamble. I’ve seen guys order a “compatible” sprocket only to find the pitch is off by 3 mm. That’s a full day lost.
This catalog was printed for the dealer network. That means every number in it – from the 65.05510-5027 engine oil filter to the 2270-9405G idler – was verified against production drawings. The filter intervals on page 3 are direct from the manufacturer: engine oil filter at 500 hours, fuel filter at 750, hydraulic oil tank filter at 500. No generic “change every season” nonsense. If you own a 470Lc-V, this is the only reference you should trust.
Part Numbers You Can Actually Use
The 470Lc-V Parts Catalog breaks down the machine into logical groups: filter, belt, bulb, battery/fuse/relay, teeth/adapter/side cutter, undercarriage, seal kit, and engine gasket kit. Each group lists the OEM part number. For the undercarriage, you get specific shoe weights (600G for 16T, 750G/800G/900G for 20T shoes) and part numbers for idler (2270-9405G), upper roller (2270-9402A), lower roller (2270-9404B), sprocket (108-00019), and track link (2272-6143B). You can’t guess that. You need the exact revision letter.
Seal kit listings include boom, arm, bucket, track spring, center joint, main pump, and swing motor. The main pump seal kit number is 401-00255KT. If you’re rebuilding the swing motor, it’s 2401-9242KT. Those kits come with the right O-rings and backup rings – not a bag of random sizes. I’ve used aftermarket seal kits that leaked within 200 hours. Never again.
How to Order Parts (Straight from Page 5)
The foreword on page 5 tells you exactly what the dealer needs: model, machine serial number (HELYO-xxxxx on the bed frame), engine serial number, part number, description, and quantity. If you don’t give them the part number from this catalog, you’re relying on the parts guy’s interpretation. That’s where mistakes happen. The catalog also shows the key number reference – a numbered exploded view for each assembly – so you can point to the exact part you need. I keep a printed copy in the shop because the online dealer portal times out mid-search.
Does This Catalog Cover the Engine Gasket Kit?
Yes, page 3 lists the top overhaul gasket kit (65.99605-8028) and the all-overhaul gasket kit (65.99601-8042). These are genuine Daewoo gasket kits for the DE12TIS (Tier II) and DE12TIA (Tier I) engines. The aftermarket kits often use paper gaskets where the factory uses multi-layer steel. On a 20-ton excavator, a blown head gasket costs you a weekend and a tow bill. Use the OEM kit.
Bulbs, Belts, and Batteries – Every Spec Listed
Need a halogen bulb? The 24V 75/70W is 2515-1022D1. Battery is 150AH with part number 2506-6008. Fuses range from 10A to 30A, all with specific OEM numbers. The aircon belt is 2106-1019D2; the fan belt is 2106-1019D12. If you walk into a parts store and ask for “an excavator fan belt,” you’ll get something close but not correct. Close is not good enough when you’re 50 miles from the shop.
For related machines, check out the Solar 280LC-III 1998 Parts Catalog – OEM Factory Specs for the smaller series, or the Solar 280 1998 Parts Catalog – OEM Factory Control Valve Exploded View if you need hydraulic valve details. The SOLAR 210w-V Parts Catalog covers a different model line but follows the same Daewoo part number logic.
Why OEM Documentation Matters
Every part number in this catalog is from the original manufacturer. There’s no translation error, no “will fit” claim. The Automotive Industry Overview at Wikipedia gives context on supply chains, but for specific parts, you want the source. The aftermarket industry is full of copycat parts that meet “or equivalent” standards – which is a nice way of saying they’re made to a price, not a spec. If you own a 470Lc-V, you already paid for a quality machine. Don’t cheap out on the documentation. Automotive Industry Overview is a good read, but it won’t tell you the part number for the suction filter (2471-9401A). This manual will.
- Can I use this catalog for the S280LC-V or other Solar models?
- No. This is specific to the 470Lc-V. The frame, undercarriage, and engine gaskets differ. Using the wrong catalog will get you the wrong part.
- What if I need the exploded view diagrams?
- The catalog includes key-numbered parts breakdowns. For example, the undercarriage section lists idler, rollers, sprocket, and track links with reference numbers. Each drawing corresponds to a key number table. That table is how you double-check you’re ordering the right bolt or bushing. The OEM drawings also show fastener torque values in the service manual, but this parts catalog only has part numbers. If you need torque specs, get the service manual separately.
If you work on these excavators, you already know the cost of downtime. Having the Solar 470Lc-V Parts Catalog on your tablet or printed out saves you from ordering the wrong part and waiting another two days. The 684 pages cover every nut, bolt, seal, and filter from the factory. Don’t trust a copy. Access the Factory Manual from AutoRepairManuals – it’s the same one the dealer uses.
