The manual explains how to prevent it when the loader is under heavy load and the hydraulic oil heats up. The Live Third function hoses (page 6:8) have their own replacement procedure. And don’t forget the touch-up painting (page 6:13) – Quicke gives the paint code.

Accessories (Section 7) cover Hydraulic locking, Soft Drive/Plus Drive suspension, 3rd and 4th functions, Lock & Go, and Live Third Valve. The manual tells you how to install the 3rd function Pilot System. This is the stuff that makes a loader work with a grapple or a bale spear. If you’re adding a 3rd function to a Q30, you need the factory flow diagram – not a guess.
