Let me tell you something about aftermarket manuals. They skip the crap that matters. You crack open a reprint and the torque sequence for the cylinder head is wrong, the fuel pressure numbers are off by 50 psi, and the safety warnings get summarized into one line. For cold weather operation (page 42), they give you the preheat cycle times and ether starting procedures. That’s not in any third-party “service guide” I’ve ever seen.

Refill Capacities and Maintenance Interval Schedule

Maintenance Section kicks off at page 46 with Refill Capacities. Page 46 has the exact oil pan capacity, coolant volume, and fuel tank capacity in Imperial quarts and gallons. Not metric approximations – factory numbers. You need to know that the 1106D takes exactly 24 quarts of oil with filter change. Don’t overfill it. Then the Maintenance Interval Schedule from page 59 onwards gives you the schedule in engine hours. Oil change at 500 hours, valve lash adjustment at 1000 hours, fuel filter at 250 hours.
