What Torque Values Are Listed for the Cylinder Head Bolts?

But for the cylinder head bolts specifically, you need to follow the tightening sequence on page 38. The manual specifies a two-stage torque procedure – first to a lower value, then to the final spec. It also tells you when to use new bolts. If your 103-10 has been overheated, the bolts are one-time use. Period.

Check Compression Test Data Before Tearing Down
Page 11 gives compression test data. That should be your first diagnostic step on any 102-05 or 103-07 that won’t start or runs rough. The spec includes minimum compression pressure and the allowable variation between cylinders. Write those numbers on a post-it and stick it to the timing cover. When you pull the head, you’ll already know whether it’s rings or valves. Don’t skip this.
For the Engine block assembly (Chapter 7), the manual covers crankshaft deflection measurement (page 19) and journal diameters (page 20). If you’re rebuilding, those pages give you the wear limits. I’ve seen guys scrap a perfectly good Cylinder block because they didn’t measure correctly. Page 13 has basic engine data – displacement, firing order, compression ratio.
