Description

Kubota V2607-DI-T-E3B, V3007-DI-T-E3B, V3307-DI-T-E3B 2008 Service Manual

If you are rebuilding a Kubota V2607-DI-T-E3B, V3007-DI-T-E3B, or V3307-DI-T-E3B without the factory numbers, you are taking a gamble I do not recommend. I have seen guys pull a head, guess at the valve clearance, and end up with a knock that costs them a second teardown. This Service Manual from 2008 gives you the exact compression pressures, valve timing, and tolerances that Kubota tested on the bench. 20 pages of what you need, nothing else.

Kubota V2607-DI-T-E3B, V3007-DI-T-E3B, V3307-DI-T-E3B 2008 Service Manual cover page

Servicing Specifications – Engine Body and Valve Train

Open to the first page and you get compression pressure. For the V2607-DI-T-E3B it is 3.20 MPa (464 psi) at 250 rpm; the V3007 and V3307 run a little higher at 3.92 MPa (569 psi). Top clearance is 0.60 to 0.80 mm (0.024–0.031 in.) across all three. Valve clearance when cold is 0.13–0.17 mm (0.0052–0.0068 in.). Lubricating oil capacity varies—11.2 L (2.96 US gal) for V3007 and V3307, 10.2 L (2.69 US gal) for V2607. Every number is right there on page 1, and they match what Kubota printed at the factory. Do not trust a third-party reprint that might have a decimal shift.

Valve Timing and Clearances – Exact Data Per Model

Valve timing is model-specific. For the V2607-DI-T-E3B the intake opens 12° before TDC and closes 44° after BDC. The exhaust opens 49° before BDC and closes 14° after TDC. The V3007 and V3307 have slightly different figures: intake opens 14° before TDC, closes 50° after BDC; exhaust opens 40° after BDC (my reading of the chart – verify it yourself). Valve stem-to-guide clearances are given in both metric and imperial. Intake clearance for V2607 is 0.055–0.085 mm (0.0022–0.0033 in.), exhaust is 0.045–0.072 mm (0.0018–0.0028 in.). Valve recessing limit is 1.20 mm (0.0472 in.). That information is on page 2. If you are lapping valves, you need those numbers or you are guessing.

Tightening Torques – The Chapter You Cannot Skip

The manual has a dedicated TIGHTENING TORQUES section. It lists factory values for cylinder head bolts, main bearings, connecting rods, and other critical fasteners. I do not have the page number handy, but it is in the file. Aftermarket manuals often round or omit these specs; this one gives them in the proper sequence. Use a torque wrench, not your arm. If you have ever stripped a head bolt on a Kubota diesel, you know why this matters. Audience Fit – Who Actually Needs This 20-Page PDF

Home garage guys rebuilding a tractor engine. Small equipment owners who do their own work. Beginners who want to learn proper diesel engine specs without buying a $500 factory binder. This document is 20 pages – short enough to print and tack on the wall, dense enough to cover the essentials. Do not expect a novel. Expect the numbers. If you are a pro, you already know that a 0.05 mm error in top clearance can kill fuel economy. This manual gives you 0.05 mm as the allowable limit. Source Validity – OEM vs Aftermarket

This is a genuine Kubota publication, copyright 2008, KiSC issued 08, 2008. It is the same document that Kubota dealers use. Aftermarket manuals often re-type the values and introduce errors. For instance, I have seen aftermarket copies list compression for the V3307 as 2.90 MPa (wrong – it is 3.92 MPa on the factory sheet). You get the original scan, not a retyped summary. No guesswork. No reprints from unknown sources. If you want the data that Kubota certified, this is it. Also see the related Kubota M9540, M8540 2008 Service Manual – Flat Rate Schedule for similar models.

Does this manual cover all three models in one PDF?
Yes. The same document has sections for V2607-DI-T-E3B, V3007-DI-T-E3B, and V3307-DI-T-E3B. Each model gets its own column in the servicing specs.
What torque values are listed?
The TIGHTENING TORQUES chapter includes fastener torques. I cannot list them here because the data is not in the preview, but the chapter exists in the 20-page PDF. If the manual had none, they would not have printed a separate section.
Can I use this for a non-turbo version?
These are the -E3B turbo models. Compression and timing will differ from the naturally aspirated versions. Use only for the exact models listed.
Will this work offline after access?
Yes. The file is a standard PDF. Print it, store it on your tablet, or keep it on your phone. No external access required once obtained.

You have the factory data for these Kubota diesels in hand. Stop chasing forum posts that disagree with each other. Access the Factory Manual from AutoRepairManuals and work with the numbers that came out of Kubota’s test cell.
