The first edition was printed November 2005. But Kawasaki produced these models through multiple years with minimal changes. This manual covers the Ninja 650R, ER-6f, and ER-6f ABS from 2005 onward. Check your model code – EX650A6F, EX650B6F – against the side view diagrams in the general information section.

Does it include torque specs for the head bolts?

Yes. Page references in the periodic maintenance chapter list the tightening torque for major fasteners. The engine top end section gives the cylinder head bolt tightening sequence and torque values in N·m and ft·lb. Use a calibrated wrench.
