Hyster H14.00-18.00XM-12, -12EC 2006 Parts Catalog

Hyster H14.00-18.00XM-12 -12EC 2006 factory parts catalog cover showing Challenger model

You’ve been burned by aftermarket parts catalogs before. A blurry diagram, a wrong part number, and you’re down a day while the wrong bearing shows up. That stops with the Hyster H14.00-18.00XM-12, -12EC 2006 Parts Catalog. 844 pages, original OEM print. Not a scan of a copy of a scan.

I’ve been wrenching on heavy equipment for 28 years. I trust Hyster’s own documentation because the parts breakdowns match what’s actually on the truck. Every figure in this catalog — from GENERAL TRUCK (Figure 1-1) to the NUMERICAL INDEX in Section 13 — comes straight from the Hyster engineering files. No guesswork.

Frame and Operator Compartment Coverage

Section 1 breaks down the frame and everything attached to it. Floor plates and covers (Figures 1-2 through 1-4), operator compartment (Figures 1-5 through 1-8), doors (Figure 1-9), hood (Figures 1-12, 1-13), heater (Figure 1-14), windshield washer (Figure 1-16), counterweights (Figure 1-17), fenders (Figure 1-18), seat and suspension seat (Figures 1-19 through 1-22), and all labels (Figures 1-23 to 1-25). If you need a seat cushion or a latch, you’ll find the exact part number here. Engine Section: From Cylinder Block to Turbocharger

Section 2 is the engine section — 88 figures covering the complete engine assembly. That includes the air intake heater (Figure 2-2), cam follower cover (Figure 2-3), fuel drain (Figure 2-5), thermostat (Figures 2-6, 2-43), alternator (Figure 2-7), fan drive (Figures 2-9, 2-46), fuel filter (Figures 2-10, 2-47), lift pump (Figures 2-11, 2-52), oil cooler (Figure 2-14), oil level gauge (Figures 2-15, 2-39), starter (Figure 2-17), cylinder block (Figure 2-25), cylinder head (Figure 2-26), piston and connecting rod (Figure 2-27), crankshaft and main bearings (Figure 2-28), rocker levers (Figure 2-29), camshaft (Figure 2-30), injector (Figure 2-31), valve tappet (Figure 2-32), engine control system (Figure 2-33), vibration damper (Figure 2-34), flywheel housing (Figure 2-36), oil pan (Figure 2-38), oil pump (Figure 2-40), crankcase breather (Figure 2-41), flywheel (Figure 2-42), air compressor plumbing (Figure 2-44), turbocharger (Figure 2-64), exhaust manifold (Figure 2-68), and more. The internal combustion engine has many subassemblies, and this catalog shows each one with its own figure and part callouts. For broader context, see Internal Combustion Engine Internal Combustion Engine.

What Systems Does This Parts Catalog Cover?

Thirteen major sections. Frame (Section 1), Engines (Section 2), Fuel System (Section 3), Electrical System (Section 4), Transmission (Section 5), Drive Axle (Section 6), Steering System (Section 7), Brake System (Section 8), Hydraulic System (Section 9), Mast-Two Stage Vista (Section 10), Mast with Empty Container Handler (Section 11), Options (Section 12), and Numerical Index (Section 13). Each section is tabbed in the original print — you can thumb right to it. The table of contents on page 3 of the PDF lists every figure and its page number, so you can find any part quickly. That catalog is 844 pages of OEM data.

Use the Numerical Index to Find Any Part

Section 13 is the numerical index. Every part number used in the catalog appears here, referencing the figure and item number where it’s shown. If you have a part number from a previous repair or a sticker on the machine, look it up in the index. It’ll point you to the exact figure. The index is also useful for cross-referencing superseded parts. Hyster updates part numbers over time, and this 2006 edition captures the numbers as they were when the truck was built. No aftermarket reinterpretation.

Fuel System and Throttle Pedal Details

Section 3 covers the fuel system with Figures 3-1 and 3-2 showing the full fuel circuit. The throttle assembly is broken into several figures: electronic foot pedal mount (Figure 3-4), and two throttle pedal variants (Figures 3-5 and 3-6). If your -12EC has a pedal issue, you can order the exact pedal assembly from the part numbers listed. The attached Automotive Industry Overview Automotive Industry Overview gives a broader look at how these systems integrate, but for part numbers, this catalog is all you need.

Why OEM Documentation Matters

Aftermarket parts catalogs often use generic drawings or outdated part numbers. This is an original 2006 Hyster factory print, not a reprint or a third-party compilation. The parts listed in the 13 sections match the trucks produced that year. If you order a part using the number from this catalog, it will fit. No reprints, no copy — straight from the Hyster parts database. For other Hyster models, see the Hyster HR45-25, HR45H, -31, -36L, -40LS 2005 Parts Catalog OEM Hyster HR45-25, HR45H, -31, -36L, -40LS 2005 Parts Catalog OEM or the Hyster S-Series Forklift Parts Catalog Hyster S-Series Forklift Parts Catalog.

Does this catalog include assembly torque specifications?
No. This is a parts catalog, not a service manual. Torque data is in the service manual.
How do I locate a part if I only know the part number?
Use Section 13 Numerical Index. Each part number is listed numerically with a page and figure reference. For example, if you have a part number like 1452617, you look it up in the index and it directs you to the exact figure and item number. Also, the manual has thumb tabs for each section—frame, engines, fuel system, etc.—so you can quickly flip to the right section. The table of contents on page 3 of the PDF (page 3 of the manual) lists every figure and its description. So you can also search by system. This catalog is designed for fast retrieval on the job.

If you’re working on a Hyster Challenger H14.00-18.00XM-12 or -12EC, stop wasting time with aftermarket junk. Access the Factory Manual and keep it on your tablet or print it out. It’s the only parts catalog you’ll trust once you’ve used it.
