It also defines all abbreviations: HHCS stands for Hexagon Head Cap Screw, SHCS for Socket Head Cap Screw, NPT for National Pipe Thread, etc. If a bolt is listed as Grade 5 and you torque it to Grade 8 spec, you’ll strip threads or snap the bolt.
