PCM Power Diode and Central Junction Box: Schematic Breakdown
Power enters the cooling system through the Battery Junction Box (BJB) – fuse F1.26 (40A on ZETEC, 50A on Duratec) and F1.25 (50A). The Central Junction Box (CJB) supplies the relay coils through fuse F2.9 (3A) and diode V34. That diode prevents backfeed from the PCM module power supply. If V34 fails, you may get a parasitic drain or a no-start condition. The schematic shows the diode in line with circuit 296 (20 WH/VT).
