Can I use this catalog to find spark plug gaps or torque specs?

No. This is a parts catalog, not a service manual. It lists part numbers only.

Does the diesel section include the injection pump calibration data?

No. It only provides the parts breakdown for CAV and Simms pumps. Calibration specs are in the diesel service manual. The parts catalog shows you which plunger and delivery valve to order.

Will this work for a Ford 4000 tractor engine that uses the same blocks?

Some Ford industrial engines share parts with agricultural models, but this catalog is written specifically for the 158-175-201-256 industrial line. Cross-reference with a tractor parts catalog if needed. The Ford 4000 often used the 201 or 256 CID, but mounting brackets and PTO parts may differ.

What if a part number I need isn’t listed?
