Description

Fiatallis FW110, FW130, FW90 1997 User Manual – Factory Operation & Maintenance

You don’t buy a Fiatallis wheel loader and guess your way through the startup sequence. That machine costs more than your house, and one wrong move can wreck the transmission before you ever load a bucket. The difference between a blown hydraulic line and a smooth shift is having the factory document open on the bench. This Fiatallis FW110, FW130, FW90 1997 User Manual is the exact 86-page book that came with the machine when it rolled off the line. Not a reprint. Not a third-party summary. OEM print.

Fiatallis FW90 FW110 FW130 1997 User Manual cover showing wheel loader operation and maintenance instruction booklet

86 Pages: What You Actually Get

Page 1 through 86 cover everything from safety precautions (pages I-VII in the original numbering) to the keystart switch and instrument panel. The TOC on page 4 lists: Safety precautions, To the Owner, Identification data, Stability, Noise and vibration levels, Safety plates and their locations, Preliminary instructions and run-in period, Operating instructions, Instrument panel, Warning and indicator lights, Keystart switch, Switches. That’s every critical procedure for daily operation and scheduled maintenance. No filler.

Safety Plates and Their Locations – Factory Diagram

The manual dedicates a full section to safety plates and warning decals, with their exact locations on the FW90, FW110, and FW130. Page 3 carries the big warning: “READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING, OPERATING, SERVICING, REFUELLING OR CARRYING OUT ANY OTHER WORK ON THE MACHINE.” The ISO 9244 color coding is explained. If you’re missing a decal or need to verify placement after a repaint, this is your reference. Skip that section and you could miss a pinch-point hazard.

Instrument Panel and Warning Lights: Factory Layout

Pages 11–13 show the instrument panel layout and every warning light. Charge pressure, engine temperature, transmission oil temperature – the manual tells you what each gauge reads in normal operation and what to do when a light comes on. The keystart switch (page 14) has its own subsection, including the start sequence and safety interlocks. A common mistake on these loaders is forcing the key after a hydraulic lock; the manual explains the release procedure.

Why OEM Documentation for a 1997 Machine?

Aftermarket manuals for the FW90/FW110/FW130 often blur data between model years or skip the run-in period specs. The 1997 edition from Fiatallis is the only source that matches your serial number’s exact build. Need the charge pressure gauge response? Page 73 – but that’s in the factory print, not a copied PDF. The stability section (page 3) gives counterweight specifications that aftermarket lists get wrong. If you’re running a loader with a salvage transmission, the wrong fluid capacity can cause overheating. The manual gives you the factory fill quantities.

Does the Manual Cover the Keystart Switch and Switches?

Yes. The keystart switch section (page 14) details the start interlock circuit, including the neutral start switch and the safety switch for the transmission control. The switches section that follows covers all cab switches: lights, hazard, wipers, and auxiliary hydraulics. Each switch function is described with the correct circuit number. If you’re wiring in a new accessory, you need the factory switch diagram to avoid overloading the 12V system.

Get the Right Start-Up Procedure

The preliminary instructions and run-in period (page 9) are the most bypassed pages by operators. Cold-start procedure, warm-up cycle, hydraulic oil temperature minimums – they’re in there. Ignoring the run-in period on a rebuilt engine is a quick way to scuff a cylinder. The manual spells out the hour-by-hour schedule for the first 100 hours. That alone pays for the manual ten times over.

Is this manual for the FW90, FW110, and FW130?
Yes – one book covers all three models. The note on page 3 states that references to W90, W110, and W130 mean FW90, FW110, and FW130 respectively.
Does it include torque specifications?
As a user manual, torque values are given where they matter for owner maintenance: wheel lug nuts, drain plugs, and filter fittings. For engine or transmission rebuild torque specs, you need the Service Manual (FIATALLIS FW110 FW130 Service Manual). This manual covers operational torque checks like checking cylinder head fasteners after run-in.
What about safety plates – are they illustrated?
Page 5 and following map every safety plate and decal location with ISO 9244 color codes. If you need to order replacement decals, the part numbers are in the manual.
Can I use this for a different model year?
This is the 1997 edition. Later models may have different instrument panels or hydraulic systems. For a 1998 or later, look for the matching year manual. We have those too.

You want your loader to run right and stay safe? Access the Factory Manual and keep it on the tablet in the cab. One bad start sequence can cost you a week of downtime. Don’t trust memory – trust the factory document.
