You’ve got a Neon on the lift, or in your driveway, and the aftermarket manual you bought from that website gives you a torque spec that’s “tighten to feel.” That’s not a spec, that’s a guess. I’ve torqued more head bolts than most people have had hot meals, and I can tell you: guesswork gets you a blown head gasket or a stripped bolt. Does This Manual Cover the 2.0L High Performance Engine?

Yes. The manual explicitly includes engine code ECH for the Hi Performance 2.0L. Look at Group 5 brake booster vacuum hoses: Fig. 5-320 is for the ECH engine, separate from the 1.6L EJD (Fig. 5-310) and 2.0L ECB (Fig. 5-315). If you’re swapping a high-output motor or fixing vacuum leaks on an R/T or ACR, this is the reference you need. Same goes for the clutch – Group 6 covers modular clutch (Fig. 6-110) and linkage for both left-hand and right-hand drive (Fig. 6-310, 6-320).

Get the Right Parts with Mopar Accessories Diagrams

Group 1 lists every factory accessory with part numbers: roof racks, bike carriers, ski carriers, trailer tow wiring, fog lamps, alarm systems. Fig. 1-910 shows the EVS base alarm system. If you’re adding a hitch-mounted bike carrier (Fig. 1-210) or a water sports carrier (Fig. 1-232), you get the exact brackets and fasteners. Aftermarket catalogs often skip these details – then you’re drilling holes in the wrong place. Group 5 Brakes: Drum and Disc Specifications

The manual covers both rear drum (Fig. 5-205) and rear disc (Fig. 5-207) brakes. Each has its own torque specs for caliper bolts, brake line fittings, and bleed procedures. I’ve seen DIYers mix up the parking brake cable routing because generic manuals show one size fits all. Not here. You get the exact setup for your VIN. The master cylinder (Fig. 5-405) and power brake booster (Fig. 5-305) are also shown with separate diagrams for the 1.6L and 2.0L vacuum hoses.
