If you’re tearing into a Chrysler Caravan, Voyager Service Manual driveline on a lift in San Antonio, you don’t need warm fuzzy marketing. The inner joint on both sides is a tripod joint; the outer is a Rzeppa (true constant velocity). The manual explicitly states that the inner tripod splines into the transaxle side gears and is retained by a snap ring. That snap ring is your first thing to check if you can’t get the shaft to seat. Don’t force it.

The vacuum schematic shows solenoids energized and de-energized for the overrunning clutch vacuum motor. If your AWD Voyager won’t engage rear drive, check the vacuum lines before you pull the module. Page 45 in the manual has the schematic. Aftermarket diagrams often swap the vacuum ports.
