Crawling down a slope has its own procedure (page 34). Don’t coast. Use the engine assist. I’d compare it to driving a Manual Transmission – you need to match speed to terrain. The California Proposition 65 warning on page 2 is genuine – that’s the legal requirement for lead and diesel exhaust. Does This Manual Cover the Fuel System?

The operators manual covers basic operation and routine maintenance. For fuel system specifics, you’d want the service repair manual.
