Page 28 starts the Engine Trouble Shooting chapter. It’s a table-style troubleshooting guide. Lists symptoms, probable causes, and corrections. No vague “check ignition” nonsense – it tells you to test compression, inspect valve clearance, and measure governor response. If you’ve got a 126 A that surges at idle, the manual points you to the carburetor and governor adjustment sequence. I keep a copy in my tool box for the old irrigation pump jobs. Technical Data and Maintenance Charts – OEM Specifics

Page 34 holds the Technical Data chapter. Compression ratios, valve timing, ignition timing, torque values – all there.
