Use a calibrated torque wrench every time. I’ve seen a cracked block from an overtightened head bolt. The table includes both torque values and any angle-tightening procedures.

Basic Engine Data: Block, Crankshaft, and Timing (Pages 19–38)

This section covers the core hardware. Page 20 has the block, page 21 the liners, pistons, connecting rods. Page 28 crankshaft and balancer unit.
