For electrical diagnostics, the manual provides a system overview (T1-2-4), in-cab wiring (T1-2-6), monitor and switches (T1-2-7), and the controller and relays (T1-2-10). There’s even a dedicated page on batteries (T1-2-17). You need to trace a short? Start with these diagrams. The manual doesn’t give you a full wiring schematic with every wire gauge – it gives you the operational principle. Trace Hydraulic Flow Using Section 3

Open to the Pump Assembly group and follow the oil from the pump through the 4-Spool Solenoid Valve Block, into the Front and Rear Control Valves. The manual shows the internal passages in Inner Parts In Control Valve (T1-2-18). If the swing brake won’t disengage, check the Swing Control Valve (T1-2-16) and the Accumulator (T1-2-14). You don’t need a degree in fluid dynamics – you need the factory’s description. That’s here.

Does this manual include wiring diagrams for the ECU?
No. It covers only component layouts, not schematics.
Can I use this manual to rebuild the pump?
Not directly. It describes the pump assembly operation – how the swashplate angle changes, what signals the regulator receives from the pressure sensors, and how the flow is directed to the control valves. That information is critical for diagnosing efficiency loss or pressure drops, but the manual does not include internal clearances, seal part numbers, or torque values for the pump cartridge. For a full rebuild, you need the separate service manual that goes with it. This technical manual is for understanding the hydraulic logic, not a disassembly manual. Many techs try to rebuild a pump without understanding the regulation logic and end up with a pump that works fine on the bench but fails under load. This manual prevents that mistake.
