Aftermarket reprints often skip the performance standards and test procedures in section 2.2 – the part that tells you how to measure operating speed and hydraulic pressure at specific points. Without that, you’re just turning wrenches blind. Get the real thing.

Does this manual cover both the CK1600 and CKE1350?

Yes. The first section has separate spec pages for each model, including outside dimensions, weight of each part, and stability calculations. The rest of the manual applies to both unless noted.

What about the free fall option on the hoist?

Section 6.4.3 covers the winch assembly with free fall (optional). It includes the assembly drawing and adjustment steps for the drum lock.
